There are several parts involved in getting a website up and running:
- Working out what it is that the site is supposed to do
- Getting the background and supporting material together
- Deciding on the site style
- Building the site pages
- Publishing to a web server host
- Optionally registering a domain (eg www.mysite.co.uk)
