Prototyping
Often, it is difficult to visualise how things will appear in web page form. Therefore, at the start of a project, I will make a prototype site with the general ideas laid out to be viewed and discussed. I will always make the prototype before we agree to go ahead and as such, I am effectively doing it for free. Only when you are happy that I really understand what you are after and are confident that I can deliver do we 'start the clock'.
