Your shiny new website has to be hosted somewhere. The where doesn't really matter. Most people with internet access have webspace as part of their ISP package. Or free hosting can be used, which sometimes places adverts on your pages. There are also dedicated paid-for hosting services which cost from about £2 per month for a basic package.
