Domain Registration
When your site is hosted, it has an address of where it actually is (eg www.mywebhost.co.uk/~myname/public/index.html). This is not necessarily the address you want to give to people to view your site, you would rather have something easier to remember and type in (eg www.myname.co.uk). This easy to use name is your domain. It is registered with an organisation called Nominet who coordinate all internet domains. I can help with domain registration, or carry it out on your behalf. Typical costs range from £3 per year to £50 per year depending on what exactly you buy.
